Bareilly — The 70th State-Level School Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament concluded yesterday at the Badminton Hall, Sports Stadium, Bareilly, amid a shower of prizes and awards.
At the closing ceremony, Joint Director of Education, Bareilly Division, Ramagya Kumar; District School Inspector, Bareilly, Dr. Ajit Kumar; Finance and Accounts Officer, Secondary Education, Vikas Khandelwal; and Om Prakash Rai felicitated the winners, runners-up, and third-place finishers in the team events, as well as the winners and runners-up in the individual events, presenting them with certificates, medals, and trophies.
Earlier, Joint Director of Education Ramagya Kumar was welcomed with a bouquet by District School Inspector Dr. Ajit Kumar. Dr. Ajit Kumar, in turn, was welcomed by Om Prakash Rai, Principal of PM Shri Government Inter College, Bareilly, while Finance and Accounts Officer Vikas Khandelwal was welcomed by Divisional Sports Secretary Naeem Ahmed.
Principals and physical education teachers from various schools across the district were present on the occasion.
The program was compered by Dr. Avnish Yadav and Naeem Ahmed.
